Refund and outage compensation policy
Updated 20 Oct 2026
This policy applies to every plan bought on RocketKey. The same numbers are shown on Pricing.
1. First order within 72 hours
Within 72 hours of your account's first paid order, if that plan period's total spend is under $1, you get 100% of the amount paid back to your balance.
2. Periods not yet started
A plan period you bought that has not started yet (for example a renewal queued after the current one) is refunded 100% to your balance at any time before it starts.
3. Running periods
A running plan period is not refunded by the day, except for the outage cases in section 4.
4. Outage compensation
- A day with 4 or more hours of accumulated outage on the Status page adds 1 day to every plan period running that day.
- An upstream outage lasting more than 72 hours in a row: the remaining days of the period are refunded to your balance and can be withdrawn.
5. Balance and withdrawals
- Every refund is credited to your account balance first. The balance pays for later orders.
- Refunds for long outages (section 4) can be withdrawn to the bank account used for payment.
6. No refund
- Accounts suspended for breaking the Terms of service (abuse, unauthorized key sharing, violating a model provider's usage policy).
- Unused daily cap (it does not roll over).
- Deleted accounts: the remaining balance and time are not refunded.
